The first question will always remain, why do people feel embarrassed in the first place? Why are kids never ashamed to run around naked and adult feel embarrassed anytime their pants fall down while running?

How to stop feeling ashamed disgraced and embarrassed

How to stop feeling ashamed disgraced and embarrassed

When you look at both situations, you will see that it all boils down to mindset. Kids have nothing to be ashamed for and we don’t see them being naked as an embarrassment. But for an adult, we have wrong beliefs and assumption of what mistakes are.

Most embarrassing moments are as a result of mistakes we made. Because we make these mistakes most times not on purpose, people tend to laugh at us causing us to feel ashamed.

But there is a way that you can deal with these moments so that you stop feeling embarrassed in your life ever again.

The truth that the solution lies in you; people feel ashamed as adults because they have this wrong belief that it is bad to make mistakes in public.

This wrong belief makes us feel bad in embarrassing moments. But the truth is that if you can change your beliefs and perception that making mistakes in public is embarrassing, then you will stop feeling this way.

We are humans and making mistakes are all part of our learning processes. Understand this and you will stop feeling embarrassed in public places even if you make mistakes.

If the people around you start laughing, boldly walk up to them and ask them these questions:

“Have you ever made a mistake in your life before?”

“Will you say you are perfect?”

“If you have made mistakes before and accepted it what stops you from accepting that someone else can also make mistakes?”

I believe that these questions will give the person something to think about.
